As quoted from Itch.io page:
A rapidly developed puzzle game for Puzzle Jam [8 Bits to Infinity].
Your objective is to get rid of all numbered blocks on your playing field. On the bottom of the screen, you see a sum on the left side. You get rid of blocks by painting over blocks with your mouse, so that the sum of blocks matches the sum on the bottom of the screen. If you select multiple blocks, each block should be adjacent to some other selected block.
Best I recall, I had some extra time during studies back then, and decided to go for a game jam. Not a very refined prototype (which can be said of all my game prototypes from this era), but again, I had fun devising it. I particularly recall paying attention on level difficulty and provability (or in other words: how many moves a level can by minimum take, and how easy it is/how easily you can end up on a track you need to reverse back out from).
Try it yourself. Psst! If you get stuck, you might find the solutions if you look closer.
