DiskArchaeologist is an elective university course project designed to analyze folder structures for interesting files and patterns. It was designed from ground up to facilitate in-depth analysis which studies file contents. It is written in Java, and is my largest Java project to date.

The program is fairly incomplete; there aren’t many analysis components, practically rendering it a simple Java clone of WinDirStat. Despite that, it is still fairly functional, and should be fairly easy to extend further as well.

It has been placed here mostly for public interest; I may not necessarily maintain this program too actively. It is released under the MIT license though, to facilitate independent development for anyone wishing to do so.
